Waking Up to a Winter Wonderland

As I've previously mentioned...DC is much, much colder than Baton Rouge. Most days I bundle up to stay warm, and I'm wishing the Louisiana weather would venture up to the nation's capital.

However, when I woke up this morning, I was greeted with the sight of a blanket of snow outside. Suddenly I could tolerate the cold because the untouched morning snow is incredibly beautiful. The weather here is still an adjustment but it's days like today that make me appreciate the differences between climates.
