DC isn't Baton Rouge. It's a far off destination that I've visited only a handful of times. Traveling up here is a way to quench a thirst for adventure that has burned for quite some time.
These first couple of weeks have been downright incredible. From revisiting the traditional landmarks on the National Mall to venturing into the city's eclectic neighborhoods to sample the dining and nightlife, my first taste of DC life has been fulfilling.

The one downside to living here, and anywhere below the Mason-Dixon line, is the temperature. It's freezing up here. This morning it was 19 degrees - talk about chilly.
You've got to be kidding me. |
